Our Silver plan is a moderately priced comprehensive health insurance for foreigners in the Czech Republic with a special Maternity Plan designed exclusively for those expecting or planning to have a baby.

This plan exceeds the minimal requirements necessary to obtain a visa or residency permits stated on the Interior Ministry’s website and underwritten by Pojišťovna VZP a.s. and administrated by VZP for Foreigners. Learn More.

Pre-existing medical conditions are Not Covered. However, your application will be approved for all other covered expenses.

2,000,000.CZK is the maximum benefit payable toward each covered and approved health or accidental medical expense including repatriation of mortal remains and emergency medical transportation in the Czech Republic, but limited to emergency only in the EU-Schengen Zone.

If you wish to be covered beyond this coverage area, our Gold Plan provides coverage with no boundaries and superior medical facilities with same day medical access.

Approved medical facilities accept our Silver Plan after you have phoned the AXA Assistance telephone number on the back of your card for verification of your coverage and to pre-certify your medical need and schedule your doctors appointment at the nearest participating medical facility.

All applications must be submitted with full premium payment for the entire coverage period. The Czech Republic forbids installment or monthly billing and there are no refunds for premature policy cancellations or changes in plan selection. The minimum coverage period for this plan is 4 months.
